North Side Christian Preschool!
Though our name has changed we still offer the same quality experience for your child, but we hope you will find we are much more than a child care center. We pride ourselves in being a top quality preschool with research-supported curriculum. Our classes use High Reach curriculum which was developed by early childhood experts who know what children should be learning and how it is most appropriately taught at each age level. From our youngest toddlers to our Transitional Kindergarten class, kids have opportunities to develop a wide range of skills such as language, social/emotional, and large/small muscle. They also have experiences with math, science, and social studies, as well as art and music.
We also believe that Play is an important part of early learning. Whether it is through dramatic play, free play center time, or time in our outdoor playground, we believe that play helps develop skills that can not be taught.
As a Christian Preschool we teach our kids of the love of God and how He wants us to live with those around us. We incorporate Bible stories and Bible verses into our lessons each week. When you combine interactive curriculum with dynamic Bible stories and Miss Sheila’s music classes, we know you will find a great preschool experience for your child.
While all our classes are top quality, we are especially proud of our Transitional Kindergarten class. This class is designed for those kids who just missed the cutoff for Kindergarten or are waiting an extra year before starting Kindergarten. In this class your child will focus on academic skills needed to help ensure success in Kindergarten while giving them opportunities to further develop confidence and social maturity. This class follows the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines, and Kindergarten teachers and parents alike will tell you that your child will leave here ready for school!
We are licensed by the state of Texas and operate during the summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and during the school year children can attend Mondays and Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, or Monday through Thursday.
