MEN2B Men's Ministry
The Men's Ministry goal at North Side is to see the "man" make significant, lasting contributions at home, in his career, at church and in his world, to become the man he is meant to be. We believe that the only method to accomplish this goal is through vital relationships with other men as modeled by Jesus Christ.
At North Side we are committed to helping each man strengthen that relationship by providing him with the opportunity to fellowship with other men at weekly bible and book studies, Men’s Fraternity meetings, retreats, and recreational events.

To win men to the Lord, as fully devoted disciples of Christ, strengthening them in their faith and assisting them in fulfilling their purpose and destiny through service to God, family and the community.

Men's Ministry Opportunities at North Side
Our groups/events are designed for participation. An environment of support, confidentiality and openness is fostered at all times. We're convinced that through relationships, we can strengthen and help one another grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ resulting in a biblical understanding of manhood. Today’s culture has confused men and pulled them down; at NSBC we work to lift them up.
COOK-OFFS/COOKOUTS (throughout the year, watch website and bulletin for specifics)
Grillin’ & eatin’ is a full contact sport. Men of all ages come to prepare and devour the harvest God has blessed us with. A time for food, fun, and fellowship.
DISASTER RELIEF (as needed)
As catastrophes rock our world, we have a group of trained responders that roll. Training is available if interested in joining this group.
BIBLE/BOOK STUDY GROUPS (weekly, on-going, watch website for specifics)
Meet with other men at various times to enjoy fellowship and study the Scriptures, and the cultural issues that impact the Christian worldview.
GOLF TOURNAMENTS (Ethan Smart Memorial in spring & others TBD)
Awesome opportunity to play golf with other men.
HUNTING AND FISHING EVENTS (TBD throughout year/seasonal)
Designed to create fun and fellowship in a common interest.
MEN'S FRATERNITY (View Times on our Men's Frat Page)
Men's Fraternity is a series of three, one-year curriculums designed to help men come together and strengthen each other through weekly sessions that combine biblical teaching and small group interaction. Through this powerful series, men learn to reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and expect God's greater reward. www.mensfraternity.com
NSBC RETREATS (Falling Up, Sept 25&26, Texas Star Ranch $50ea)
Bringing men together on common ground to learn together and listen to each other. Bonds of true God-centered friendships are formed as men encourage each other to more fully embrace a godly view of manhood.
VOLUNTEER CHRISTIAN BUILDERS (on-going, watch website for specifics)
Offers opportunity to grow in Christ through fellowship and to be involved in mission efforts, near and far.
