Beginning this fall all our preschool and children's Wednesday night activities will come under the banner of "North Side Kids Night."
Kids Night is for children 3 years old (as of Sept 1, 09) - 6th grade. This will be a fun night of Bible study, music, missions projects, prayer and games.

Kids Night consists of:
Little Kids Time - 3 year olds (as of Sept 1, 09)
LKT will introduce these younge children to stories throughout the Bible from Creation to Paul’s Missionary adventures.
There is no cost for Little Kids Time.

Kid's Quest - 4 year olds (as of Sept 1, 09) - 2nd grade
Simply put. Kid's Quest takes children through the Bible in the course of four years. Each year the childre work through a specific and age appropriate binder.
Four year olds learn the Bible stories from Creation through Samuel.
Kindergartners learn the stories of David through Jonah
First graders learn the stories of Jesus birth through Jesus feeding 5,000 people
Second graders learn the stories of Jesus walking on the water through Paul's shipwreck.
The cost of the Kid's Quest binder is $20.
Breakout - 3rd - 6th grades
Breakout help kids see how the Bible can be relevant to their lives today. Unlike Kid's Quest, no matter what grade a child starts in they will begin with book one, "How to Know Christ." This book takes them through merely knowing about Christ to understanding what it means to have a personal relationsip with Christ.
The second year book, "How to Grow in Christ," teaches kids how to study God's Word, what church is all about and what kind of character does God want them to have.
In the third year book, "How to Serve Christ," kids learn about Spritual Gifts, what types of ministries would fit with their gifts, and then we have an in depth look at the book of John.
In year four the book, "How to Share Christ," teaches kids just that. The kids learn to share their testimony of their salvation with other kids and then prepare to go on a mission trip in the summer.
Kid's Quest gives the kids a goodbiblical foundation and Breakout builds on that by helping kids apply it to their lives and getting them to understand that God wants to use them to reach others.
The cost of the Breakout binder is $20.
Kids Quest and Breakout Binders
Each child, 4 years - 6th grade, registering for these programs must complete their binders by May 12 in order to receive an award on May 19. Parents, we do not work on these binders on Wednesday nights. They are for you and your child to work on together. Please do your best to make sure they stay on track.
As of January 6 all children should be on or near lesson 9 in their binder.
Children's Choirs
Music has always played a large roll in the children's ministries of North Side. This year we are excited to announce that our children's music programs are moving from Sunday nights to Wednesday nights. All children 3 yrs to 6th grade will now be able to participate in choir.
3 year olds - Kindergarteners will participate in Simple Worship
1st-3rd graders take part in Movin' Worship
4th -6th graders join together in Livin' Worship

January 13 - School Spirit Night - Kids are to wear their school colors
January 27 - Ugly Shirt/Sweater Night - We’ve all got at least one in our closet or dresser, that ugly shirt or sweater you simply refuse to wear. Be brave. Be bold. Wear it on and be proud. If you don’t have one, check your parent’s closet I bet they’ve got an ugly one or two.
February 10 - What I Want to Be Night - Come dressed for work like its Feb 10, 2030
February 24 - Pajama Night - Wear your warmest and favoritest pajamas.
March 10 - Crazy Hat Night - Either wear a “store bought” crazy hat or find an old hat at the house and decorate it.
March 17 - Spring Break - No Kids Night
March 31 - Super Hero Super Villain Night - Create your own hero or villain, come up with a simple costume and you super powers
April 7 - Luau Night
April 21 - Parker County’s Largest Ice Cream Sundae Night. It’s gonna be big!
April 28 - No Kids Night
May 12 - Saddle Ridge Ranch VBS Promo Night - a.k.a. Cowboy/Cowgirl Night
Final night to present your completed finished Kid’s Quest or Breakout binder
May 19 - Award and Musical Presentation Night
